11/11/2008: Trophies sign of flourishing Wuhan relationship
Three trophies to be presented at tomorrow’s Canterbury Jockey Club race meeting at Riccarton Park are a sign of a flourishing relationship between Christchurch and its sister organisation, Wuhan Jockey Club.
Canterbury Development Corporation Sector Leader China, Prof Eugene Feng, and horse racing expert Murray Acklin, will present the trophies to the owner, trainer and jockey of the Race 6 winner on behalf of the Chinese Wuhan Jockey Club.

30/10/2008: Five CDC clients in Deloittes Unlimited Fast 50
Grinning from ear to ear, Canterbury Development Corporation’s Business Support Manager John Hamilton was today celebrating the news that five of the six Christchurch companies named in the Deloittes Unlimited Fast 50 have been through CDC programmes.
Canterbury Development Corporation is the city agency charged with accelerating growth and transforming the economy of Christchurch.

13/10/2008: Young designers in the limelight
Future fashionistas, landscape architects, artists and designers from around New Zealand gather together this Saturday night to celebrate the 17th annual Young Designer Awards.
Nearly 500 entries were received for this year’s awards, which will be held in the Christchurch Boys High School auditorium, starting at 7.30pm on Saturday, October 18.

06/10/2008: CDC client reaches heady heights
Christchurch professional photographer Giora Dan will spend about four months over the next year near the top of the world.
His joint proposal with Christchurch landscape photographer Paul Daly to shoot the landscape and peoples of the Himalayas and other sites in Tibet, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan and India has been taken up by camera equipment giant Sony and the two will leave on the first leg of their mission next week.
