Needs Assessment 

Once you have registered you will begin the Enterprise Training Programme with a one-on-one session where we will work with you to assess your needs, identify the management skills you require and develop a plan to help you acquire those particular skills.  This may include referrals to other programmes or organisations. 

 

Workshop Training Topics

Enterprise Training Workshops have been designed by New Zealand’s leading small business experts and include practical learning using real business examples covering many topics in the following categories:

  • Business Planning
  • Marketing
  • Finance
  • Substainability
  • Business systems
  • Managing Resources (eg: operational excellence, customer service)  

 

Group Training

 Group training includes workshops, seminars and courses aimed at transferring skills and knowledge in a range of areas of business management.

CDC recognises the benefits of learning with ‘like-minded’ individuals in ‘like’ industries.  CDC are currently working with different sector groups.  These workshops are developed to meet the needs of people working in specific industry sectors. 

 

Follow-up Coaching

After attending an Enterprise Training workshop business coaches (generally the workshop presenter) are available, on a one-on-one bases, to help you implement the skills, ideas and knowledge gained from your training.  The business coach will meet you at your place of business or CDC offices, whichever is most convenient for you.
