Workforce Capability Team

 
The Workforce Capability Team identifies and coordinates initiatives to optimise the ability of the region's workforce.  The team will work collaboratively with government, business and community sectors iin order to support sustainable and coherent workforce initiatives in the Canterbury region.
 
 

Overall Objectives:

  • Understand issues and identify initiatives that have the ability to impact on future workforce capability
  • Develop partnerships with appropriate government agencies, community, business and other organisations for the delivery of workforce initiatives
  • Coordinate the delivery of initiatives to optimise workforce capability
  • Facilitate capacity building and business advice to employment initiatives and community organisations
