Cookie Time is an entrepreneurial, innovation-led food company, which began from the production of the Chocolate Chunk cookie.

Cookie Time aims to deliver ‘a taste for every occasion and a smile on every face!’ Cookie Time is famous for its big, crunchy cookies, which are available throughout New Zealand.

It also supports the Cookie Time Charitable Trust, which helps kiwi kids discover their gift.

Cookie Time produces cookies for anyone of any age. It is a huge hit with children and therefore produces various appealing cookies.

The company also produces other products that target people who enjoy eating healthily; for example, the Bumper Bar and One Square Meal, which provide a healthy, great quality snack for all ages.

History

Michael Mayell started producing cookies in 1983 when he was 21 years old, after a visit to the States. He was inspired by the cookies he had seen so started to produce his own.

His brother Guy jumped on board in the same year and Cookie Time is still privately owned by the Mayell brothers.

Cookie Time is a leading company in New Zealand. It employs over 80 fulltime staff and has more than 40 independent franchises distributing products to more than 6000 retail outlets throughout New Zealand.

Cookie Time also owns a retail store in Queenstown, New Zealand.
